INDIANAPOLIS (9/2/2015) -- The Horizon League announced its ESPN televised games on Tuesday and the University of Detroit Mercy men's basketball team was picked to appear three times on the conference's ESPN package.
 
Detroit's home game against UIC on Friday, Jan. 8, will either be shown at 7:00 p.m., on ESPN2 or at 9:00 p.m., on ESPNU.
 
The same scenario is also the case for the Titans' game at Oakland on Friday, Feb. 26, as the Metro Series will be televised nationally.
 
The game times for both of those contests will be decided within 2-3 weeks of the scheduled date of competition.
 
The other game of the Horizon League's partnership with ESPN will see Detroit's home contest against Central Florida on Saturday, Dec. 19, air on ESPN3 with WebStream Sports serving as the producers. That game time is set to tip at 1:00 p.m.
 
The complete Horizon League schedule will be released later this week.
