Detroit was down by nine points with 3:38 left, but went on a 7-0 run to pull to within two points with 2:25 left. Haleigh Ristovski's fifth triple of the game and 100th career 3-pointer cut the lead to two points, 73-71, but Detroit was unable to tie or take the lead and OU made all four free throws late in the game.

Haleigh Ristovski also tied a career-high with 13 rebounds that she set earlier this season. Cohen has scored 19 points or more six times this season. Junior guard Rosanna Reynolds tied a career-high with nine assists, while sophomore guard Nicole Urbanick set a new career high with seven helpers.
