DETROIT (10/3/2016) -- The college basketball season is almost here, but with the preseason comes awards as senior
Chris Jenkins and junior
Jaleel Hogan were tabbed with All-Conference honors by College Sports Madness.
Jenkins was named to the Horizon League Second Team, while Hogan was listed on the Fourth Team.

Jenkins is the Titans' leading returning scorer as he finished last season averaging 12.0 points per game, third on the squad. He was also second on the team in rebounding (5.7), fourth in steals (1.0) and fifth in assists (1.4).Â
In the Horizon League, he ranked 12th in rebounding, 15th in steals and 20th in scoring. Â
Jenkins scored in double figures 16 times with six 20-point games and three double-doubles and did the work on the boards with 20 games of pulling down five or more rebounds. Some of his bigger games included a career-high 26 points and 10 rebounds in a win over UCF, 25 points and seven rebounds at Green Bay and 22 points on the road at Oakland.Â
Hogan had a breakout year as a sophomore and was the only Titan to start all 31 games. He was fifth on the team in scoring with 10.5 points per game, while ranking fourth on the team in rebounding at 4.2 per night.
He also led the team and was second in the Horizon League in field goal percentage hitting 132-of-230 shots for 57.4 percent, good for ninth in school history.
Hogan posted double figures in scoring 19 times on the year with two double-doubles and a 20-point contest. He had 20 points and eight rebounds at home against Oakland. He tallied his double-doubles with 14 points and 10 boards versus Bowling Green and 10 points with 10 rebounds against Milwaukee.Â
The Titans started practice for the 2016-17 season last Friday under the direction of first-year head coach Bacari Alexander.Â
The first exhibition game of the year is set for Oct. 29 against Wayne State as the Titans host the inaugural "City College Series" to raise money for Detroit Public Schools, grades K-5. All tickets cost just $2 and can be purchased now at Calihan Hall or by calling the Titan Ticket Office at 313-993-1700 ext. 7301.Â
Season tickets are also on sale starting at $130 for General Admission level seating and $185 for Floor Reserved and Upper Reserved level seating.Â
