DETROIT (10/18/2016) -- Just nine more days until the University of Detroit Mercy men's basketball team hits the hardwood in a preseason battle against Wayne State, set for next Saturday, Oct. 29.
 
DetroitTitans.com caught up with junior Kameron Chatman and he filled us in on what to expect from head coach Bacari Alexander '99.
 
The exhibition against Wayne State is part of the brand new "City College Series," a sponsorship formed with Michigan First Credit Union to raise money for DPS with the aid of a basketball game between local academic institutions in the city. 
 
All proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated to Detroit Public Schools to provide financial assistance for the district's K-5 classrooms with Michigan First contributing a matching donation for all tickets sold.
 
Tickets for the game can be purchased now over the phone or in person at Calihan Hall (4001 W. McNichols Road in Detroit).
