DETROIT (10/25/2016) -- In just a couple of days, the University of Detroit Mercy men's basketball team will debut the "City College Series" to benefit Detroit Public Schools, K-5, in a preseason game against Wayne State on Saturday, Oct. 29.
The game will tip off at 7:00 p.m., on Dick Vitale Court inside historic Calihan Hall.

The exhibition against Wayne State is part of the brand new "City College Series," a sponsorship formed with Michigan First Credit Union to raise money for DPS with the aid of a basketball game between local academic institutions in the city.
All proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated to Detroit Public Schools to provide financial assistance for the district's K-5 classrooms with Michigan First contributing a matching donation for all tickets sold.
Tickets for the game can be purchased now over the phone or in person at Calihan Hall (4001 W. McNichols Road in Detroit). For additional information about the game, sponsorships or donations, contact Detroit Mercy Director of Athletic Marketing & Promotions
