DETROIT (12/27/2016) -- Fans, come out to Thursday's basketball doubleheader on Dec. 29 and wish a happy birthday to Tommy Titan.
Fans can join in with some of the other mascots in town to wish a happy birthday to the Titan legend, including the Detroit Lions Roary, Hooper from the Detroit Pistons, Champ from the Detroit Sports Commission, the Lightening Bug from DTE, Swoop from Eastern Michigan and many, many more.
Fans will get a chance to see the mascots throughout the doubleheader and to take pictures and get autographs.
There will also be mascot games during both the men's and women's basketball games and a special birthday presentation to Tommy Titan at halftime of the men's game.
The doubleheader will get underway with the women hosting Valparaiso at 5 p.m., followed by the men entertaining Northern Kentucky at 7:30 p.m., in the Horizon League opener for both teams.
