Last Time Out
The Titans and Minnesota combined for 202 points and Detroit Mercy set a new school record with 16 3-pointers in a 111-91 setback in Minneapolis on Saturday. Detroit Mercy's new record for treys was one better of the previous single-game record of 15, which the Titans had during the 2014-15 season at Toledo. The Titans also had a season-best 25 assists, the most in the Bernard Scott era.

Freshman Anja Marinkovic scored 29 points, the fifth-highest total in the Horizon League this season and the most for a first-year player. She knocked down 7-of-11 shots from beyond the 3-point arc and was 11-for-19 overall from the floor. Senior guard Rosanna Reynolds added 20 points and seven assists, while Brianne Cohen had 14 points and Nicole Urbanick was the fourth member of the squad in double figures with 12 points.

It was the second game this season that Detroit Mercy has scored 90 or more points. It was just the second career meeting between the two schools.

Marinkovic Named Freshman of the Week
Freshman guard Anja Marinkovic was named the Horizon League Freshman of the Week on Monday after turning in a 29-point performance at Minnesota on Saturday. She was 11-of-19 from the floor and 7-for-11 from beyond the arc. It was her first career weekly honor from the Horizon League. Her 29 points tied the best for a Detroit Mercy this season equaling Rosanna Reynolds' 29 points in the season opener at Delaware State.

Marinkovic's 29 points is the best point total for a Horizon League freshman this season and her seven 3-pointers are the most of any player in the league for a single-game this year.

Titan NCAA Ranks
Detroit Mercy is among the national leaders in 3-pointers made, ranking 15th overall with 70 triples made and 23rd at 8.8 treys made per game. The Titans are 24th in the country in defensive rebounding (30.0 per game) and 72nd in blocks per game (4.4). Detroit Mercy is also 71st in the country in scoring offense (72.8 points per game).

Individually, Rosanna Reynolds is in the top 100 in several statistical categories and leads the Horizon League with 44 assists, which also ranks 37th nationally. She is also tied-for-first and 40th in the country at 5.5 assists per game. She is also in the top 100 in both free throws made and free throws attempted. Haleigh Ristovski is 85th nationally with a 41.5 percent shooting percentage from 3-point range and Ristovski and Nicole Urbanick are 2-3 in the league in 3-pointers made.

All-Time Series
The Titans and Eastern Michigan have met 25 times in women's basketball with Detroit Mercy leading the all-time series, 14-11. The two sides have met in each of the past 10 seasons, with Detroit Mercy owning a 4-6 record across those 10 games. The Titans won the first nine games in the series, which began in 1979. Last season, the Titans fell 85-68, despite a record shooting night from Nicole Urbanick, who tied a single-game school record with eight 3-pointers on her way to 32 points against the Eagles from Calihan Hall.

Scouting Eastern Michigan
The Eagles are 3-4 on the season, having played six of their first seven games away from the friendly confines of the Convocation Center. Eastern Michigan is coming off a 66-47 win over Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. EMU also has wins over Ferris State and Georgia State this season. The Eagles are 1-0 at home after defeating Ferris State by a 68-50 margin on Nov. 16.

Sasha Dailey leads the Eaglies in scoring at 20.3 points per game. She is also the leader from downtown, making 16 triples through seven games. The Eagles have four players who average more than 6.0 boards per game with Phillis Webb leading the way at 7.1 rebounds per game. The Eagles average 63.4 points per game and give up 63.2 per contest. Eastern Michigan is active on the boards, totaling 43.6 boards through seven games.

Eastern Michigan head coach Fred Castro is in his first season with the Eagles. It's his first head coaching job.
