DETROIT (2/26/2016) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's basketball team returns to the hardcourt Saturday afternoon, visiting Metro Series rival Oakland for a 3 p.m. contest at the O'rena in Rochester. The game is set to be streamed live on ESPN3.com and the Watch ESPN Applications.
Detroit is 6-2 in Horizon League road contests this season, including earning a 95-93 overtime victory at Wright State in its most recent game. The Titans are 13-13 and 9-6 in Horizon League play under first-year head coach
Bernard Scott.
The Titans will be looking for revenge over the Golden Grizzlies after Oakland picked up a 79-73 win at Calihan Hall on Jan. 23.
Quick Hits• The Titans are 13-2 when shooting 40 percent or better this season and 7-0 when reaching 80 points.
• Detroit has three players in the top 10 of the Horizon League in scoring in Reynolds (fifth, 15.7 ppg), Cohen (eighth, 14.4 ppg) and Urbanick (ninth, 14.0 ppg).

Rosanna Reynolds ranks first in the Horizon League and seventh in the NCAA in free throw percentage (88.3). She is also first in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.3) in the HL.
• Reynolds leads the Horizon League in assists with 133. It's the third time in her career that she's reached 100 or more helpers in a season. She broke a 20-year school record with her 15 assists against Wright State.

Brianne Cohen has scored in double figures in 18 of 24 games off the bench this season. She is fourth in Horizon League-only games with a 16.9 ppg average.

Nicole Urbanick is the fastest player in team history to reach 100 career 3-pointers. She did it in 46 games. She leads the HL in 3-pointers made this season with 73.
• In conference-only games, Detroit leads the league in field goal percentage (42.9), 3-point field goal percentage (35.8) and ranks second in free throw percentage (74.6) and scoring offense (71.6).
• UDM is first in the Horizon League in fewest turnovers per game at 13.5. Detroit turned the ball over just five times at Wright State, a HL low in 2015-16.
• Three Titans have reached 100 career 3-pointers this season after
Nicole Urbanick sank her 100th at Green Bay.
Rosanna Reynolds and
Haleigh Ristovski also hit the century mark this year. The trio are the 12th, 13th and 14th players in team history to hit that plateau.
• Urbanick leads the league in 3-pointers made per game (2.8). She has led the league throughout the HL season. She is 21st in the NCAA in total 3-pointers made (73).
• Detroit already has surpassed its blocks output from last year. The Titans have swatted 95 shots this season, good for fourth in the Horizon League.
Haleigh Ristovski leads the squad with 28 blocked shots.
• Detroit has made 204 triples this year, which is fourth all-time in team history. Only three other years has Detroit connected on 200 3-pointers. The all-time record for 3-pointers in a season is 221 in 2014-15.
• Detroit is 9-2 when holding its opponent to 69 points or fewer. Detroit's losses came in league play against Green Bay and UIC.

Lola Ristovski is first in HL-only games with a 46.8 3-point shooting percentage (22-for-47).
Detroit Earns Thrilling Overtime Win at Wright StateFive players left. Foul trouble. Overtime on the road. The University of Detroit Mercy women's basketball team faced multiple odds in Saturday's game against Wright State, but just like all season, the Titans continued to show their fight, earning a 95-93 victory over the Raiders at the Nutter Center.
Rosanna Reynolds a single-game Detroit record with 15 assists, while turning the ball over just once. Detroit had a season-low five turnovers, despite playing in its first overtime game of the year. It's the lowest turnover total in the Horizon League this season.
Reynolds blew past her career-best in helpers, notching her second 10-assist game of the season.
Nicole Urbanick led the Titans in scoring with 27 points, while
Brianne Cohen added a career-high 26 points off the bench for Detroit.
Haleigh Ristovski posted a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds.
The Titans shot 43.4 percent for the game and made 9-of-21 shots from beyond the arc. Detroit had a season-high 24 assists. UDM also had season-highs with 36 field goals and 83 field goal attempts. Reynolds finished just three rebounds shy of a triple-double, totaling 10 points, 15 assists and seven rebounds.
All-Time SeriesDetroit leads the all-time series with Oakland, 12-10. The Titans are 3-6 in road games against OU, last winning in 2009 with a 74-65 victory on Nov. 13. In last year's meeting at Oakland, Detroit fell by just six points, 64-58.
Scouting OaklandThe Golden Grizzlies are 7-5 in home games entering Saturday's contest with Detroit. Oakland is 6-9 in league play entering the final stretch of games, which includes a 2-5 record in the past seven outings. OU fell to both Wright State and Northern Kentucky in its two road games last week and wraps up the year with three-straight games at home.
Olivia Nash leads four players who average in double figures with 16.7 points per game. She averages 8.3 rebounds per contest to lead the squad. Taylor Jones is second in scoring at 13.0 points per game, while Elena Popkey has an 11.2 points per game average to go along with 132 assists, which is second in the league to
Rosanna Reynolds. Taylor Gleason leads in steals with 58, while Sinclair Russell has a team-best 45 blocks.
Last Time Out vs. OaklandHaleigh Ristovski scored a career-high 21 points to go along with 13 rebounds and
Brianne Cohen added 21 points, but the Titans couldn't pull out the victory at home, falling 79-73 to the visitors from Oakland. Detroit scored 27 points in the final quarter to try and overtake the Golden Grizzlies and pulled to within two points four different times late in the game, but the Titans couldn't get tie or take the lead.
Detroit hit nine 3-pointers during the contest and shot 42 percent from the floor. The Titans led in rebounding, 39-36, while finishing with 20 assists, nine of them by
Rosanna Reynolds.
Nicole Urbanick also added a career-best seven helpers in the contest. Cohen shot 10-for-15 for the game, while
Haleigh Ristovski hit five of the nine Detroit triples. Urbanick connected on three treys.
Oakland had four players score 16 or more points and were led by Elena Popkey's 18 points.
Up NextDetroit closes out the regular season next week with two home games, hosting Green Bay on Thursday, March 3 and Milwaukee on Saturday, March 5 at Calihan Hall. Game times are set for 7 p.m. on Thursday and 1 p.m. in the regular-season finale on Saturday.
