Titans Fall at Home to Green Bay, 74-58
Sophomore Nicole Urbanick scored a game-high 18 points and three Titans scored in double figures, but the University of Detroit Mercy women's basketball fell to visiting Green Bay, 74-58, on Thursday night at Calihan Hall.

Sophomore forward Brianne Cohen scored 10 of her 14 points in the second half and junior Haleigh Ristovski notched her sixth double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds. The loss dropped Detroit to 14-14 overall and 10-7 in the Horizon League. Green Bay, the regular-season Horizon League champions, improved to 26-3 and 16-1 in league play.

The Titans hit nine triples -- six in the second half -- pulling closer to the all-time single-season record as a team. The Titans are just three 3-pointers shy of the single-season mark (221), set last year.

Horizon League Scenarios
Detroit can earn the No. 3 seed in the upcoming Horizon League Championship with a victory on Saturday over Milwaukee and a Wright State loss to Youngstwon State. Green Bay and Milwaukee have clinched the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds, respectively, while Detroit can finish anywhere from third to fifth in the final standings depending on the results Saturday. Youngstown State and Northern Kentucky are one game behind the Titans at 9-8, while Wright State is one game ahead at 11-6.

Scouting Milwaukee
The Panthers (18-10) have secured their first winning season since 2007-08 and have clinched the No. 2 seed and a double-bye in the Horizon League Championship. Milwaukee most recently earned a 98-95 victory at Oakland. Jenny Lindner and Steph Kostowicz each tallied 32 points in the triumph over the Golden Grizzlies. The Panthers have won five straight contests and have an 8-5 road record this season.

Kostowicz and Sierra Ford-Washington lead the Panthers in scoring, averaging 13.8 and 13.7 points per game, respectively. Ford-Washington was named to co-Horizon League Player of the Week with Rosanna Reynolds last week after averaging 25.0 points in two Milwaukee wins. Kostowicz ranks first with 8.9 rebounds per game, while Alexis Lindstrom has made 59 triples this season to lead Milwaukee. Ford-Washington has also sank 107 free throws this season, while making them at an 84 percent rate.

All-Time Series
The Titans hold the all-time series advantage with Milwaukee, 26-24, in 50 contests dating back to 1990. Detroit has a 12-10 record in game played at Calihan Hall and has won seven of the past 10 games with the Panthers. In the past 15 games, Detroit has an 11-4 mark.
