DETROIT (4/11/2016) -- We are one Titan family and now is a time to give back as former University of Detroit Mercy student-athletes will get together to help guide the future work force of America with the first-ever "Forever A Titan" event.
The event is scheduled for this Thursday, April 14, at Calihan Hall inside the Titan Club Room. It is open to all UDM
SENIOR student-athletes.
There will be free food & beverages and it is a great networking opportunity with former student-athletes, alumni and current Titan Athletic Club Members. Not only will they be discussing the importance of networking and mentors, but also the social and professional benefits of becoming a Titan Athletic Club Member. They will also go over the reduced rate for the "Forever A Titan" group.
Forever a Titan is a group is comprised of former student-athletes who have graduated within the last five years. These alumni and Titan Athletic Club Members can help assist with career advice and guidance on how to find that first job. These mentors can be a role model, coach, sounding board, and a trusted resource. We are here to help you.
The attire is casual (this is not a career fair so please do not expect booths and suits). There will be guest speakers, potential employers and those with years of working experience in the fields you are trying to enter.
