INDIANAPOLIS (9/13/2016) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's basketball team will be in the national spotlight all season long and that will include three games on the Horizon League linear and digital ESPN partnership.
Two of the games will be a part of the ESPN3 exclusive package, while Detroit Mercy will make at least one appearance on ESPNU.

The national game on ESPNU will be featured during rivalry week as Detroit Mercy heads to Oakland to battle the Golden Grizzlies on Jan. 13. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
The ESPN3 exclusive games will be on Jan. 6 when the Titans visit UIC and on Feb. 19 when the red, white and blue host defending regular season champion and NIT runner-up Valparaiso. Games times are still TBA on those games.
With the Horizon League's partnership with ESPN, all men's basketball home games and conference road contests will be broadcast live on ESPN3, giving the Titans at least 21 appearances on the ESPN national and digital network.
The 2017 Little Caears Horizon League Men's and Women's Basketball Championships will take place in Detroit, Mich. at Joe Louis Arena and will include all ten teams in a five-day format from Friday, March 3 to Tuesday, March 7. Each game of the Championship will be aired on an ESPN network with the first three days of the men's and first four days of the women's games streamed on ESPN3.
The first men's semifinal matchup will be aired on ESPNEWS while the second will be on ESPNU. The women's championship game will take place on Tuesday, March 7 at 12 p.m. ET on ESPNU followed by the men's championship at 7:00 p.m. ET on ESPN or ESPN2. The 2017 Championship will mark the last year at Joe Louis Arena before the Little Caesars Arena opens.
