DETROIT (10/24/2017) -- It was a time to smile for the camera and soak in all the attention as the University of Detroit Mercy hosted basketball media day on Tuesday inside historic Calihan Hall.
Over 15 members of the local media – from print to television - came out to get the latest info on the start of the basketball season from head women's coach

Robert C. Vowels, Jr., Horizon League Commissioner Jon LeCrone and Vice President of Sales for Olympia Entertainment John Ciszewski.
The event was hosted by the Voice of the men's basketball team on 910 AM Superstation

Denny Kapp also helping with the ESPN3 broadcast.
The women's basketball team will host Lawrence Tech next Friday, Nov. 3, at 7 p.m., in its only exhibition game of the year.Â
The men's basketball team will have its lone exhibition of the preseason next Saturday, Nov. 4, at 7 p.m., when the Titans host Wayne State in the Second Annual City Series, a charity basketball game that will benefit Detroit Public Schools, grades K-5.
