DETROIT (10/26/2017) -- #DetroitsCollegeTeam will be back on local television in the Motor City as the University of Detroit Mercy men's and women's basketball games return to WADL Detroit-38.
The local broadcast will include 11 of the Titans' 15 home games at Calihan Hall and three games for the women against local squads Michigan, Michigan State and Eastern Michigan.
"Detroit Mercy basketball is a staple in this community and I am committed to supporting local teams and organizations as we continue this great revival of Detroit," said Kevin Adell, CEO and Owner of WADL.
"We have a great partnership with Kevin Adell, who believes in our brand and our commitment to the Detroit community," said
Robert C. Vowels, Jr., Director of Athletics at Detroit Mercy. "We want everyone to come out and watch us in historic Calihan Hall, but our television presence continues to grow because of the WADL relationship and it allows our hometown fans to closely follow the men's and women's basketball teams as part of our multiple platforms to broadcast games if they can't attend in person."
WADL can be seen on a number of cable outlets in the Detroit Metro area including Channel 38 on most televisions (AT&T, Xfinity, DirecTV and Dish Network). WADL is on channel 22 for WOW cable networks and channel 19 for those in the Bright House distribution.
In addition, all home men's and women's basketball games as well as conference road games will also be aired online by ESPN3 and can be seen on the WatchESPN App. All of the men's basketball home games will also be aired live on 910 AM Superstation.
