DETROIT (12/2/2017) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's basketball team welcomes its second Big Ten opponent of the season into Calihan Hall for a Monday night contest. The opening tip is set for 7 p.m. on Dick Vitale Court.
Fans may watch the game live on ESPN3.com and the WatchESPN Applications as well as on local television on WADL TV-38 with the Voice of the Titan women's basketball team,
Denny Kapp, calling all of the action. Tickets for the game are $6 for adults and $4 for children/seniors.
The game against the Wolverines is also the women's basketball reunion with the first women's basketball coach and Titan Hall of Famer Sue (Kruszewski) Hardy and her first women's basketball squads
being honored at halftime of the contest.

Last Time Out
The Titans shot 43.5 percent, sinking nine 3-pointers and three Detroit Mercy players scored 17 points or better, but the Titans dropped an 82-74 contest at Kent State on Thursday evening.
Senior forward
Brianne Cohen finished with 21 points, making 7-of-8 free throws. She added a season-best eight rebounds. Senior

Anja Marinkovic combined for seven 3-pointers and each had 17 points in the contest.
The Titans hit 7-of-9 shots to start the game, jumping out to a 17-8 lead in the first quarter. Detroit Mercy connected on 34.6 percent of its shots from beyond the arc and also had six blocks in the contest. The Titans sank 11-of-21 shots from the free throw line.
Junior
Brittney Jackson and sophomore
Ashley Miller each had two blocks. Jackson filled the stat sheet with seven points, five assists and five rebounds. Sophomore
Zoey Oatis added a career-best three steals.
Scouting Michigan
The Wolverines improved to 5-2 on the season after an 86-49 victory at LIU-Brooklyn on Saturday. Michigan's two losses on the season have come against a pair of top-five ranked foes in Louisville and Notre Dame.
The Wolverines have a win over the Titans' Horizon League rival Oakland, 78-69, on Nov. 22. Michigan is in its sixth season under head coach Kim Barnes Arico.
Senior guard Katelynn Flaherty is among the nation's leaders in scoring, averaing 22.6 points per game for Michigan. Flaherty has made 22 triples on the season and is shooting 85.0 percent from the free throw line. She also leads the squad with 32 assists.
Junior center Hallie Thome is also averaging in double figures at 18.0 points per game. Senior forward Jillian Dunston leads U-M with 9.0 boards per contest.
All-Time Series
The Titans and Michigan are meeting for the 27th time in women's basketball. Detroit Mercy is 12-14 all-time against the Wolverines. The two programs are meeting for the second time in three seasons at Calihan Hall.
It's the eighth meeting in the past nine seasons overall. Detroit Mercy last defeated the Wolverines in 2010 in Ann Arbor. The Titans last defeated U-M in Detroit during the 1994-95 season. Detroit Mercy is 6-7 at home all-time against Michigan.
Last Meeting
A sibling rivalry took center stage when the Titans hosted Michigan at Calihan Hall on Nov. 15, 2015. All three Ristovski sisters -- including first-year Titan assistant coach

Lola Ristovski -- went head-to-head and 1,313 in attendance watched the Titans fall to the Wolverines, 88-61. It was the second game of coach Scott's head coaching career and the 2015-16 season.
It was the first time that all three Ristovskis had played in the same game as teammates or foes since the trio were teammates for one season at Grosse Pointe University Liggett High School.

Nicole Urbanick had four 3-pointers and scored 17 points for Detroit Mercy in the 2015 game.
Titans vs. the Big Ten
Detroit Mercy is 36-52 all-time against current members of the Big Ten. The Titans have a 12-14 record against Michigan.
The Titans play three Big Ten foes during the 2017-18 season -- two of them at home. Detroit Mercy hosts Michigan State and Michigan at Calihan Hall before traveling to Illinois for a contest on Dec. 10.
Coco's Hot Start
Senior forward
Brianne Cohen (Toronto, Ont.) has scored in double figures in all six games this season, while tallying at least five boards in each contest this season. Cohen has scored at least 20 points in four games in 2017-18, tallying a season-best 22 points at Miami (Ohio) in the season opener.
In the past three games, Cohen has sank 28 free throws and on the season, Cohen is shooting 83.0 percent from the free throw line (39-for-47). Cohen ranks third in the Horizon League in scoring at 18.5 ppg and sixth in free throw percentage.
Urbanick Nearing Milestones
Senior guard
Nicole Urbanick is just one 3-pointer shy of 200 in her Titan career. She would become the fourth Titan in school history to reach the 200, 3-pointer plateau. Urbanick is 58 points shy of 1,000 career points.
