VS. GREEN BAY
Detroit Mercy had dropped seven in a row to the Phoenix until the win back in January and now trail the all-time series, 27-25.

The Titans have lost four in a row and eight of the last nine at the Resch Center and are 8-16 all-time on the road in the series.

LOOKING AHEAD
The real fun begins for the Titans and the Horizon League as Motor City Madness will take place from Mach 3-7 at Joe Louis Arenas in downtown Detroit.

2017 LITTLE CAESARS MOTOR CITY MADNESS IS ALMOST HERE
The 2017 Little Caesars Horizon League Men's and Women's Basketball Championship will run from March 3-7, at Joe Louis Arena.

2017 marks the final year the championships at Joe Louis Arena before moving to the state-of-the-art Little Caesars Arena, currently under construction in downtown Detroit.

Over 20,900 fans attended the four-day tournament last year, the first neutral-site HL men's basketball championship since 2003.

TITANS WILL BE NO. 7 SEED
Detroit Mercy already knows its postseason path to a conference title as the Titans will be the seventh seed in the Little Caesars Horizon League men's basketball championship.

The Titans will take on the No. 10 seed (either Cleveland State, Milwaukee or Youngstown State) in the 5:30 p.m., game on the opening day of Motor City Madness next Friday, March 3.

A win could set up a Metro Series postseason meeting with Oakland in the second round if the Golden Grizzlies end up as the No. 2 seed.

TOUGH D
The Titans held their first opponent to under 40.0 percent shooting against UIC last Friday as the Flames shot just 38.1 percent from the field (24-of-63).

Against Cleveland State, the Titans held the Vikings to 42.9 percent, including 35.3 percent in the first half, while at Milwaukee, the Panthers shot 40.6 percent in the second half, including 5-of-19 from behind the arc.

UNSTOPPABLE
Junior Jaleel Hogan has once again been an offensive force down low for the Titans as he is leading the Horizon League and 19th in the nation in field-goal percentage at 60.0 percent.

He is currently second in school history in career field-goal percentage at 59.3 percent trailing only Eli Holman '12 (60.5%).

JALETHAL
With his 13 points his last time out, junior Jaleel Hogan has now been in double figures in 23 games this season, which includes six 20+ point contests - all in conference play.

He had 24 points against Cleveland State last Monday and tied his career high with 12 rebounds against the Vikings for his seventh career double-double and fifth this season.

To start the conference season, he posted 22 points on 10-of-15 from the field against NKU.

He had a terrific game at Oakland tallying 39 points on 17-of-24 from the field, all career highs, and had 23 points in the rematch at home against the Golden Grizzlies.

Hogan has also tallied a game-high 28 points in the win over Green Bay and had 21 points in the win at Youngstown State.

Hogan is leading the team and is ninth in the HL in scoring at 15.5 ppg., while standing second on the squad and tied for eighth in the HL in rebounding at 6.1 per night.

In his 16 HL games - he did not play at NKU - he is tallying 17.2 points - fifth in the league - and 7.2 rebounds on 60.0 percent shooting.

HIGHEST SCORING FRESHMAN IN THE HL
Corey Allen is the highest scoring freshmen in the Horizon League at 14.1 points per game - 11th in the HL and top 20 in the nation among all freshmen.

He is also leading the league in three-point field-goal percentage (45.0%) - hitting 72-of-160 on the season - and is third in three-point field goals per game (2.6).

In Horizon League only games, he is 11th in scoring with 14.9 a night and is top six in three-point field goals (2.6) and three-point field-goal percentage (46.5%).

COREY TOP 12 IN THE NATION
Freshman Corey Allen is not only leading the Horizon League in three-point field-goal percentage (45.0%), he is currently 12th in the nation in that category.

His 2.63, 3-point field goals per game is 77th in the country among all players.

CHASING A SCHOOL RECORD
Corey Allen is not only leading the Horizon League in three-point field-goal percentage (45.0%), he is currently second in school history in that category ahead of some great shooters in Rashad Phillips, Anton Wilson, Jon Goode and Derrick Hayes.

He is behind only Archie Tullos for the best single-season mark in school history as Tullos shot 48.1 percent (66-of-131) in 1986-87.

WHO WILL CRACK THE TOP 10 FIRST?
Sophomore Josh McFolley and freshman Corey Allen have a great battle going on who will be the first to etch their name in the Titan record books.

Allen currently has 72, 3-pointers and McFolley has hit 70 as they both are chasing the top 10 single records in school history.

Right now the No. 10 spot for single-season triples is held by Jason Calliste (2013) and Rashad Phillips (1999), who both had 73 in their respective seasons.

Both could also get to eighth place against Green Bay as it is shared by Dwayne Kelly (1993) and Greg Grays (2001) with 74 apiece.

IN A ZONE
Freshman Corey Allen has notched double figures in scoring 18 times this season, including a Titan true freshman record of 33 points against Fort Wayne - where he scored 27 points in the second half.

He now has eight 20-point games on the year and five in the last nine games, including a streak of four in a row at one point.

His last 20-point game was against UIC on Feb. 17.

Allen posted a game-high 27 points at Youngstown St. on Feb. 4, going 10-of-16 overall and 6-of-10 from three, and a team-high 24 points at Cleveland St. on Feb. 2, where he was 8-of-17 overall and 6-of-9 from three.

The week before, he averaged 21.0 points en route to the HL Freshman of the Week honors after scoring 20 against Green Bay and a team-high 22 points against Milwaukee - 16 in the second half.

CAREER NIGHT FOR JOSH
Josh McFolley recorded his seventh career 20-point game with a game-high 22 points at Milwaukee his last time out.

He has six of those 20-point games this season, including a great stretch where he recorded back-to-back 20-point games with 25 points at Wright State and a career-best 26 points against Youngstown State

He was especially effective from the outside nailing a career-high 8-of-11 against the Penguins and 6-of-11 at WSU.

His 26-point effort against YSU bested his previous high of 25 points at ETSU earlier in the season, where he was 8-of-17 from the field and 7-of-9 from behind the arc.

He also hit 20-point territory with 21 against Oakland on Feb. 10 and 24 in the win over WKU, where he was 6-of-9 from three.

McFolley now has 16 career games with at least three triples in a game, including eight this season.

He has 70 treys on the season - after hitting just 32 last year.

HIGH SCORING MCFOLLEY
Sophomore Josh McFolley is third on the team and 11th in the Horizon League in scoring at 14.2 points per game.

He is also tied for fourth in the HL in three-point field goals per game (2.4), 13th in three-point field-goal percentage (38.3%) and eighth in free throw percentage (80.6%).

WHAT A STREAK
Senior Chris Jenkins is currently sixth in the Horizon League and 98th in the nation in free-throw percentage (82.4%) and just saw an incredible streak come to an end.

He had made 38-straight free throws until missing the sixth attempt of his 9-of-11 effort against Cleveland State on Feb. 21

Prior to that, he was perfect in 2017 as his last miss came on Dec. 31 against Wright State.

In fact, he actually started the season 18-of-27 (66.6%) at the line in his first seven games, but has hit 66-of-75 (88.0%) since.

HARD WORK PAYS OFF
Senior walk-on Patrick Robinson Jr. has been with the team for two years and has seen limited playing time, but he has been ready when called upon.

Robinson Jr. was just 3-of-5 from the field - all from three - and ended with 11 points, three rebounds and first career block at Milwaukee.

He tallied a team and career-high 14 points on 5-of-8 shooting and 4-of-7 from downtown along with grabbing a career-best five boards against Valparaiso on Feb. 19.

Against Youngstown State on Jan. 16, he scored 10 points going 4-of-7 from the field and 2-of-4 from behind the arc.

He also had 10 points against Oakland on Feb. 10, where he hit a pair of triples.

He now has 31 career field goals and 30 have been scored this year, while 23 of those 30 have been from three.

ALMOST A TRIPLE DOUBLE
Senior Jarod Williams almost made Titan history with the first triple-double since 1977 as he tallied eight points, a career-high nine assists and 10 rebounds against Cleveland State on Feb. 21.

The last triple-double was by Terry Tyler, who had 20 points, 23 rebounds and 12 blocks against Eastern Michigan.

HIGH POWERED OFFENSE
The Titans have totaled at least 70 points in 21 games this season, including hitting 80 points 11 times and 90 on five occasions.

In the last 13 games, Detroit Mercy is averaging 81.9 points.

The Titans are tied for fourth in the Horizon League in offense at 77.4 ppg., but have raised that to 79.1 in HL games, second in the conference in league-only games.

The Titans are also tied for third in field-goal percentage (45.0%), third in three-point field-goal percentage (37.3%) and three-point field goals per game (8.1).

HERE COMES THE PRESSURE
The Titans unleashed a new pressure early in conference play and the results have been extremely positive with 235 caused turnovers (15.6 per game) in the last 15 games.

Against Green Bay, Detroit Mercy forced 21 turnovers with nine steals and turned those into 24 points.

The 25 turnovers by Oakland were the most by an opponent since forcing Milwaukee into 25 in 2012.

GETTING THE FREE ONES
Despite struggling at the line for much of the season, the Titans have made major strides in the last two games connecting on 51-of-64 (79.6%).

Detroit Mercy just recorded a season-high 26 made free throws in 31 attempts (83.9%) at Milwaukee and that was after a then season-high 25 free throws in a 25-of-33 effort against Cleveland State (75.8%).

The 26 free throws mark the fifth time this year that the Titans have made at least 20 free throws in a game and are the most by Detroit Mercy since going 28-of-37 against Wright State last season.

Detroit Mercy sank 22 free throws at Oakland (22-of-27) on Jan. 13 as well as against Green Bay on Jan. 29 (22-of-35).

Detroit Mercy was also 20-of-21 at NKU on Jan. 22 for a 95.2 percent clip, the highest ever in school history when shooting at least 20 in a game.

YOU LITTLE THIEF
Josh McFolley has recorded a steal in 24 games this season, including 18 multi-steal contests and nine with at least three takeaways.

McFolley registered a career-best five steals versus Green Bay on Jan. 29 and tied that mark with five steals at Youngstown State.

He leads the Horizon League and is 43rd in the nation with 1.9 steals per game.

His 56 total steals is just one away from moving into the top 10 in school history, currently occupied by John Long (1976) and Ray McCallum (2012), while Jerry Davis (1981) and Archie Tullos (1988) share eighth with 58 total steals.

DIFFERENT FIVE
Detroit Mercy has used 11 different starting line-ups this season and no Titan has started every game due to injuries.

In fact, only junior DeShawndre Black and sophomore Josh McFolley have played in all 29 games on the season.

CJ DOES IT ALL
Senior Chris Jenkins is well known for his all-around play and is among the Titan leaders in scoring, rebounding, assists and steals.

He is fourth on the team in scoring (12.0 ppg.) -19th in the HL - while topping the squad on the boards (7.0 rpg.) - sixth in the HL. He is also fourth on the squad with 1.5 assists per game.

He just posted his ninth career double-double and the fifth this season with 12 points and 13 rebounds at Milwaukee.

Jenkins is coming off a season-high 25 points - one off his career high - as he was 6-of-12 from the field, 4-of-5 from three and 9-of-11 at the free line along with adding seven rebounds against Cleveland State on Feb. 21.

He has now scored in double figures in 17 games on the season with three 20-point games and five double-doubles - one of just eight HL players with at least five double-doubles on the year.

He had a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds at Wright State on Jan. 20. He also posted a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds at Valparaiso on Jan. 8.

Earlier in the season, he registered 11 points and a career-best 16 rebounds against Fort Wayne on Dec. 22.

He has also handed out an assist in 20 games with a season and career-high five at ETSU.

THE RIGHT SHOT
For the second-straight game, the Titans shot over 50.0 percent from the field finishing at 52.2 percent (24-of-46) at Milwaukee.

Detroit Mercy posted a season-high 59.2 percent (29-of-49) shooting against Cleveland State in the prior contest, the best shooting performance by the Titans since recording 68.2-percent (30-of-44) at Youngstown State in 2015.

The Titans have reached 50.0 percent from the field six times this year (52.2% at Milwaukee, 59.2% vs. Cleveland State, 53.2% at Youngstown State, 52.5% vs. Green Bay, 52.4% vs. WKU and 50.0% vs. Wright State).
