DETROIT (8/10/2017) -- Fans, make sure you are there to witness history as the University of Detroit Mercy men's basketball team faces Michigan at the brand new Little Caesars Arena in downtown Detroit on Dec. 16.
The Titans and Wolverines opened Joe Louis Arena with the first-ever event for the facility on Dec. 12, 1979, and the two schools will now be the first college basketball game played at Little Caesars Arena.Â
From now until 10 p.m., on August 18, there will be a special presale of tickets available to all Titan fans. Â Tickets are limited and are available on a first come, first serve basis.Â

The game will be the first of a basketball doubleheader with Oakland taking on Michigan State. Game times are still not set, but the Detroit Mercy-Michigan contest will tip first in the early afternoon with OU-MSU following.
