  All-Time Series   Titans lead, 3-2 // Last Meeting: NKU 78, Titans 67 (Jan. 4, 2018)

Quick Hits
The Titans are 3-2 all-time against Northern Kentucky, with coach Scott holding the same mark in his head coaching career against the Norse. Detroit Mercy dropped an earlier season meeting at home, 78-67, on Jan. 4.

Urbanick is nearing the all-time 3-point mark and with 228 career treys, she's three shy of the career record of 231, set by former Titan standout Senee Shearer. Urbanick has sank 22 triples in 12 Horizon League contests. She has sank multiple 3-pointers in 10 of her past 15 contests.

Freshman Lexey Tobel tallied her ninth double-figure scoring effort of her rookie campaign Thursday at Wright State, leading the Titans with 13 points. Junior guard Lola Ristovski scored a season-high 10 points in the contest, her fifth career double-digit scoring effort. Zoey Oatis was also in double figures with 11 points.

With three rebounds at Wright State, senior forward Brianne Cohen became the eighth player in school history with 1,300 points and 500 rebounds. She is just eight points back of eighth place in career scoring (1,362 points).

Last Time Out
The Titans were unable to maintain a strong first-half effort, falling on the road at Wright State on Thursday, 85-55. Detroit Mercy trailed by six at halftime, 31-25, after holding WSU to 31-percent shooting in the opening 20 minutes.

Three Titans scored in double figures during the contest, led by freshman Lexey Tobel's 13 points. Sophomore Zoey Oatis added 11 points on 5-of-6 shooting, while junior Lola Ristovski tallied a season-high 10 points for the red, white and blue.

Detroit Mercy played well in the opening half, using a 14-4 run during the latter part of the second quarter to pull to within four points, 29-25.

Senior forward Brianne Cohen nabbed three rebounds in the contest and moved past the 500-rebound mark in her Titan career. She became just the eighth Titan in school history to record 1,300 points and 500 boards, surpassing the plateau on Thursday.

Oatis finished the game with three steals, while junior guard Gracie Roberts had a team-high four assists. Ristovski had a team-high five boards.

Scouting Northern Kentucky
The Norse are 7-17 overall and 5-8 in league play following a pair of victories in their past two outings -- a 60-57 triumph on the road at Milwaukee and a 66-59 home win over Oakland on Thursday. Northern Kentucky is 4-8 in home games during the 2017-18 season.

Molly Glick continues to lead the team in scoring, averaging 13.1 points per game, with freshman Kailey Coffey second on the team in points per game (9.4). Coffey leads the squad in rebounding, pulling down 6.3 boards per game. Two of the top three scorers on the team are true freshmen with Samari Mowbray ranking third on the squad at 7.0 points per contest.

Glick has sank nearly half of the Norse 3-pointers this season, making 52 on the season, which ranks second in the Horizon League. She ranks seventh in the HL in 3-point field goal percentage (36.6).

NKU ranks fourth in the conference in scoring defense, allowing 60.6 points per game as a team.

All-Time Series
Detroit Mercy has a 3-2 series advantage over Northern Kentucky, which is the same record head coach Bernard Scott holds against the Norse.

The Titans are 1-1 in road games against NKU, earning a 55-53 victory over the Norse last season. In that contest, Brianne Cohen scored 26 points on 12-of-13 shooting, while Rosanna Reynolds hit the game-winning bucket with just seconds left in the game.

Up Next
Detroit Mercy returns home for three-straight games, beginning with Thursday's contest against UIC. The Titans also host IUPUI on Saturday before welcoming Oakland to Detroit for Senior Day on Monday, Feb. 19. All three games are part of the "Beat Cancer" initiative held by Detroit Mercy, with funds being raised going towards Gilda's Club Metro Detroit.
