Clarridge Up Close:
A good ball striker who was a fixture in the Detroit playing rotation since arriving on campus as a freshman... Brought a great deal of tournament experience with him to the Titans, accelerating his quick adjustment to Division I college golf... Proved to be a steady, consistent player for UDM…Was voted an All-America Scholar by the Golf Coaches Association of America at the end of his junior season…

2010-11:
Named the Prof. William Kelly Joyce Team MVP…Selected All-Horizon League in his final year as a Titan…Led the team with a 75.2 stroke average in 26 rounds on the links…Had four top 10 finishes with three events in the top five…Runner-up at the PGA Village Invite with a 146 (73, 73), a performance that led him to be named the Horizon League Player of the Week…Was also third at the Titans Invitational 222 (75, 72, 75) and tied for third at the rain shortened Bruce Fossum Invitational (148-73, 75)…Posted the second best score on the team with a 235 (79, 80, 76) for a share of 13th at the Horizon League Championship…Tied for eighth at the Butler Spring Invitational, shooting a 147 (74, 73)…Tied his season best with a 222 (75, 71, 76) for 37th at the Georgetown Intercollegiate…His best 18-hole tally was a 68 for third in the Dual vs. Oakland…A four-year member of UDM’s AD’s Honor Roll as well as a member of the Horizon League’s Fall Academic Honor Roll…

2009-10:

Earned a berth on the Horizon League All-Tournament Team as he tied for third place while helping Detroit to the 2010 conference championship… Also tied for third at the Titan Invitational last spring… Posted a low 54-hole score of 214, equaling his career-best, at Michigan State’s Spartan Classic… Shot a personal-best 18-hole score of 4-under 68 in the first round of the MSU tournament… One of three players to see action in every one of UDM’s events last season… Finished the year third on the team with a 74.9 stroke average…
 
2008-09:
As a sophomore, matched his career-low round of 69 while closing in a third-place tie individually at the Spartan Classic, helping Detroit to a runner-up finish as a team… Was also UDM’s top individual at Georgetown, in the final tournament of the fall season, and twice in the spring as well – at the Treasure Coast Classic and Indiana… Was named both Horizon League Golfer and Scholar-Athlete of the Week following his sixth-place finish (71-72–141) at the Treasure Coast Classic… Ended up second on the team with a 74.6 stroke average…
 
2007-08:
Became the third Titan in four years to be voted Horizon League Newcomer of the Year when he received the award as a freshman in 2008… Finished third on the team, and fifth in the league, with a 74.1 stroke average… Was Detroit’s top individual finisher when he claimed a share of 10th place at the Georgetown Intercollegiate… Had a career-low 54-hole total of 214 at Ball State and IPFW… Registered his 18-hole low round of 69 at both of those tournaments as well as at Georgetown…
 
Personal:
Has put together an impressive list of accomplishments during summer play in his native Ontario… Tied for fifth place at the 2010 Ontario Men’s Amateur, his best finish ever at the provincial championship, and 22nd at the Canadian Amateur… Also finished third at the Hamilton Invitational and 11th at the Champion of Champions… Was a quarter-finalist at the 2009 Ontario Match Play Championship… Also finished 11th at the Glencoe Amateur, 14th at the Toronto Star Amateur, 43rd at the Ontario Am and 45th at the Canadian Championships… Won a hotly-contested 2008 Toronto Star Amateur title with a clutch eight-foot par putt on the final hole… Also finished 21st at the Ontario Amateur and 14th at the Canadian Am that summer… Finished the year ranked 11th among men’s amateurs by the Golf Association of Ontario… Signed with Detroit in November of 2006... Put together an impressive resume prior to arriving at UDM, too... Finished fourth at the 2007 Ontario Junior Tournament of Champions, 14th at the Ontario Junior Boys Championship and 77th at the Canadian Juniors...Was also 67th at the Ontario Men's Amateur and reached the semi-finals of the Men’s Match Play… Finished runner-up at the inaugural Greens and Dreams Invitational in his final junior tournament at summer's end... Was the individual medalist at the 2006 Williamson Cup competition as Ontario won the team title for the eighth time in the 43-year history of the international event... Current UDM teammate Britt Pronk was a member of that winning team as well... Clarridge also finished tied for fourth at the 2006 Ontario Junior Championship, and was 26th at the Canadian Junior and 43rd at the Ontario Men's Amateur as well.... In addition, reached the quarter-finals of the Ontario Junior Boys Match Play Championship that summer... Ended the 2006 summer season as the 11th-ranked junior in Ontario, while standing 46th on the Royal Canadian Golf Association’s national Order of Merit... His sister, Tori, was an All-Mountain West Conference swimmer at New Mexico... Majoring in Business Administration and a 2010 inductee into the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society…
