Nunez came out with the lone win for the Titans posting a 10-6 tally in a tiebreaker.

Detroit then faced Toledo and posted wins in five of the eight singles matches. Latosinsky (6-2, 6-1), Nunez (6-3, 6-1) and Joshi (6-4, 6-4) all won their matches in straight sets. Streeter, Basha and Stabley all needed a tiebreaking set to seal the deal with Streeter winning 6-4, 7-6 (7-5), Basha posting scores of 6-4, 7-6 (7-3) and Stabley coming out on the winning end 6-3, 5-7, 10-3.
