Detroit Mercy Titans Hall of Fame
The 1995 MCC Newcomer of the Year and 1997 Player of the Year, Jorge Ferreira finished his career at Detroit as the all-time leading scorer with 54 goals and 127 points.

Ferreira was named to the MCCÂ First Team all four years with the Titans (1995-98) and was named to the MCC All-Tournament Team in 1996 and 1998. He also set the Titans' single season scoring record with 16 goals during the 1998 campaign.

Ferreira helped lead the Titans to their first, and only, NCAA Tournament appearance in 1996, following a 2-0 win over Butler in the MCC Championship game.
He scored at least 12 goals in all four seasons while playing for Detroit. He was named the MCC Newcomer of the Year after his freshman season in 1995 as he tallied 12 goals, eight assists and 32 points in his rookie campaign.
Ferreira scored 14 goals in his sophomore season in 1996, tallied 12 goals in 1997 and scored a career-high 16 goals in his senior season of 1998.
He also had eight assists in his rookie campaign of 1995 and had a total of 35 points that season, which is tied for the second best in school history. He reached the 30-point plateau all four seasons, with all four of those seasons being inside the top 10 in school history.
Ferreira is the only Titan men's soccer player to score more than 100 points in his career at the time of his induction in 2014.
